Job summary

Care By Us Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking compassionate Home Care Assistants to support people in their own homes. You will follow individual care plans, provide practical help and encourage independence.

Duties include personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, mobility support, light housekeeping and companionship. You will travel between clients' homes in Markyate, delivering respectful, reliable care with the support of a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Help people live well in their own homes and follow individual care plans.
• Personal care: Helping with washing, dressing, bathing and toileting while protecting dignity and privacy.
• Medication support: Providing reminders or assistance in line with care plans, training and competency.
• Meals and drinks: Preparing meals and helping with eating and drinking where needed.
• Mobility: Helping people move safely, using equipment as trained.
• Everyday tasks: Supporting with light housework, laundry and shopping.
• Companionship: Offering conversation, reassurance and a listening ear.
• Keeping colleagues informed: Recording care accurately and reporting changes or concerns promptly.
