Home Care Support Worker

HOME CARE SUPPORT WORKER – WREXHAM / FLINTSHIRE / AFTERNOONS

Hours and Pay:

• 2pm to 8pm, Monday – Friday
• £14.00 per Hour on weekdays
• £15.00 per Hour on Saturday and Sunday
• 5 afternoons per week, including alternate weekends

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Home Care Support Worker for a client with spinal injuries, supporting the family. No experience necessary as there is no personal care involved. A caring, friendly approach and high support levels are essential.

Essential Requirements:

• Full driving licence and own car (mandatory due to rural location and limited public transport)

Responsibilities:

• Supporting a gentleman with spinal injuries who lives independently
• Supporting with domestic duties such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning
• Meal preparation and assistance during mealtimes
• Providing companionship at home and during social outings
• Assisting with school runs and activities with children
• Working in Pontblyddyn, Flintshire, near Wrexham

Candidate Profile:

• Caring, friendly, patient, reliable, and compassionate
• Good communication skills
• Willing to provide a DBS check (cost covered by employer)
• Flexible approach to work and positive partnership attitude

Benefits:

• £14.00/£15.00 per hour, including weekend and bank holiday enhancements, plus mileage allowance of 45p per mile
• Full-time position with permanent contract
• 36 days holiday annually
