Acts as regulatory first point of contact for the HC Unilever Professional (UPro) organization. Leads the regulatory strategy, organisation and guidance for HC Unilever Professional (UPro) innovation, advocacy, and compliance programmes together with any relevant new technology programmes.
Category R&D and Brand Development teams delivering HC Unilever Professional innovations, Regulatory Lead for Global UPro, Head of Home Care Regulatory Affairs and full Home Care Regulatory Affairs team, Global Regulatory Affairs leadership team, External Affairs, Corporate Communications, Legal, Safety & Environmental Assurance Centre and external supply partners.
Minimum BSc, preferably an M.S. or PhD in Biological Science, Toxicology, Environmental Science or Chemistry or equivalent.
Significant experience of the regulatory requirements that govern the Professional Home Care industry, preferably globally, and preferably with experience in the product development area. Experience in obtaining any necessary product or active substance registrations in one or more regions.
Ability to work with external consultants in different markets to deliver the regulatory strategies for the Unilever Professional business.
A proven track record in supporting the development, research, and regulatory affairs functions and preferably experience of working in an external environment (such as trade associations, Regulatory Authorities, etc.)
Extensive experience of successful stakeholder management, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, together with extensive strategic influencing skills.
Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development.
