Now Hiring: Teatime & Evening Care Assistants

Location: Swindon and surrounding areas

Are you looking for a meaningful new role where you can truly make a difference?

Right at Home Swindon is an award-winning care provider supporting vulnerable individuals to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently recruiting friendly, reliable, and compassionate Female Care Assistants for teatime and evening support.

  • 13:00–18:00
  • 14:00–22:00
  • 16:00–22:00
  • 18:00–22:00

Whether you have previous care experience or are new to the sector, we provide full, paid training and continuous support to help you succeed.

What you will do:

  • Support clients with personal care and daily routines
  • Encourage independence and promote wellbeing
  • Administer medication (with full training)
  • Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and shopping
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social activities

What we offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £14.65 per hour, plus 40p mileage allowance
  • Enhanced rates: Time and a half on bank holidays, double pay on Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day

What we are looking for:

  • A full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Willingness to obtain Class 1 business insurance
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A genuine passion for supporting others
  • Applicants must be female (exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to personal care needs of clients)
  • Applicants must be over the age of 18

Areas covered:

Swindon, Wootton Bassett, Wroughton, Cricklade, Highworth, Purton

Ideal candidates may have experience as:

Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, Health Care Assistant (HCA), or within the NHS. However, we also welcome applications from those with transferable skills from retail, hospitality, customer service, cleaning, administration, delivery driving, or similar roles.
