About The Role

We have some limited availability to offerTier 2 Sponsorshipfor Home Care Assistant positions in Crewkerne. To be eligible for this you MUST have a UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and currently live within the Crewkerne area or within a commutable distance. We are unable to consider relocation and will only make contact with candidates that fit within this criteria.

As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure you are paid for not just your contact time but also your travel time. On top of this we pay a generous milage rate of 40p per mile.

This community-based Home Care Assistant role will be supporting clients with a variety of needs including personal care within their own homes. You will need a UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Our Home Care Assistant role allows for flexibility and delivers care to our clients between 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm.

Our Home Care Assistants receive -

• £12.30 per hour
• £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate

Key duties for Home Care Assistants include:

• Identifying the needs and abilities of our clients and providing personal care and encouragement to them
• Assisting with medication, meal preparation and domestic services
• Supporting with community visits (shopping and leisure trips)
• Regular communications with the office support team

About you:

• Do you have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients?
• Do you have previous experience? This isn't essential, as full training is provided.
• Are you the holder of a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle?
