You won’t be just a name on a rota here. We know our carers, our door is always open, and if something matters to you, it matters to us. Around a third of our carers have been with us for five years or more, and every member of our operations team started out as a carer.

The Job – We support people to live independently in their own homes for as long as they would like. Your evening calls are tea and bed calls, and include personal care, medication, meals, continence care, household tasks and companionship – and, most importantly, putting a smile on someone’s face. You will record each visit on our care app.

What your working day looks like:

• Permanent rounds: you’ll see the same people each week, so you get to know them and they get to know you
• 4–5 people per round, all in one town, so you’re caring, not sitting in traffic
• Almost all visits are 30 minutes or longer, so there’s time to do things properly
• Support whenever you’re working: our on‑call team is available 7am–10pm, seven days a week

How we look after you:

• A guaranteed minimum of 15 paid hours every week
• £14.85 per hour for your call time, plus 40p per mile
• Time and a third on bank holidays
• All training paid, including your induction, in our training room set up like a real home
• Support from our office mentor for your first three months, and whenever you need them after that
• A fully funded Level 3 qualification, and a real route into senior and office roles
• An open‑door office: pop in for a chat and a hot or cold drink any time

The Rota – Evening shifts are 4pm–10pm, on a 2‑week rota:

• Week 1 – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday

You’ll need:

• The right to work in the UK (we’re unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence and your own car with business insurance
• To live within 10 miles of Stevenage, Hitchin or Letchworth

Home care experience is welcome but not essential, as we’ll train you.
