Job summary

Southampton-based SCA Care is seeking a compassionate Community Care Worker to provide in-home support across SO14-SO19 areas. Flexible rota, weekends and bank holidays, with early mornings and evenings available.

You'll help with personal care, meals, medications, and companionship, delivering high-quality, person-centred care while building trusted relationships with clients and their families. Full training is provided; driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Female (Genuine Occupational Requirement – Equality Act 2010)
• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle with business insurance
• Willingness to work weekends and/or early mornings
• No previous care experience required – full training provided

Responsibilities

• Support clients in their own homes with personal care and daily routines
• Help with medication, meals, and companionship
• Provide reassurance and consistency to build trusted relationships
• Be part of a team delivering high-quality, person-centred care
