Rotherwood Cares is seeking compassionate Community Carers to support individuals in their own homes across the Todmorden and Hebden Bridge areas. The role offers flexible hours and competitive pay, £13.00–£14.00 per hour, plus mileage at 55p per mile, with a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle required.

Formación

• A full UK driving licence.

• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable.
• Relevant care qualifications and training are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Supporting service users with medication in accordance with care plans and relevant procedures.
• Assisting with moving and handling, following appropriate training and safety guidelines.
• Preparing meals and supporting service users with nutrition and hydration.
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice in all aspects of care.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with household tasks where required as part of the care plan.
• Monitoring service users' wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns.
• Maintaining accurate daily records and following individual care plans.
• Adhering to safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety, and infection prevention procedures.
