Dale Care Ltd is recruiting a Home Care Assistant to support clients across Crook & Willington and surrounding areas. You will help with daily living tasks, enable independence, and provide companionship in clients’ homes.

The role offers full training, grouped visits, and progression opportunities, with a focus on compassionate care in a local community setting.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Care experience not required; compassionate and reliable candidates encouraged.
• Ability to travel locally and work flexible AM/PM shifts across a defined area.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to older adults in their own homes.

Location: AcrossCrook & Willington

Salary: £26,130 Pro Rata, plus mileage at £0.30 per hour.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care to older adults across Durham/Middlesbrough/Hartlepool/Gateshead helping them regain independence in their own homes.

• Meal preparation and basic cooking
• Light household tasks
• Food shopping
• Companionship and emotional support

No experience needed – full training provided!

What We Are Looking For

• Travel Requirements:This is a community-based role, so a full UK driving licence, your own car, and business insurance are essential.
• Right to Work:You must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship currently.
• Ability to work AM/PM shifts and alternate weekends
