Job summary

Hales Homecare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Stevenage to support adults to live independently at home. No experience is required as full paid training is provided by our Internal Training Team.

You'll work early and late shifts across Stevenage and Letchworth, with a driving licence and access to your own vehicle required. A rewarding role with progression and excellent benefits.

Home Care Assistant – Based in Stevenage. Pay Rate: £13.64 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile. Hours: 7am-2pm & 4pm-10pm. Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun. Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri. Areas Covered: Stevenage, Letchworth. No experience necessary – paid training and induction to ensure you feel confident in your role. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required. To apply, you must have the right to work in the UK. Your Role as a Home Care Assistant

As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll support individuals in Stevenage and Letchworth to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone’s day brighter and yours more fulfilling.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Supporting medication and meal preparation

Requirements

• Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support
• Reliable and honest team player with a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• No experience necessary, we have had people join from hospitality, retail, and customer service backgrounds
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
