Job summary

Home Instead in the United Kingdom is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver person‑centred care with a focus on companionship and support for adults in their homes. You will work 1‑hour visits, with flexible hours including part‑time or guaranteed full‑time contracts.

Responsibilities include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, attending appointments, and personal care. Comprehensive training and career development opportunities are provided within a supportive team environment.

Care Assistant Benefits:

• Excellent pay rates - £14.10 per hour week days, £14.60 per hour weekends, plus £28.20 enhanced bank holiday rates
• Types of hours available From 10 hours part time or Full-time/Guaranteed contract
• Minimum 1 hour calls– so you have the time needed with client

Care Assistant responsibilities:

Being a Home help assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework

• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
