Position: Domiciliary Home Care Assistant

Location: Huddersfield

Hours: Part time & alternate weekend working required

Salary: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour

About the role:

As a Home Care Assistant, you will be supporting clients with medication, personal care, meal prep and light domestic duties.

You will support individuals at home, promoting independence while preserving their dignity, privacy, choice, and rights.

About you:

As a Home Care Assistant, you will be able to show a high level of initiative and empathy when caring for clients. You will also need to be able to communicate at all levels effectively and be able to recognise changes in your clients needs.

To succeed in the role of a Home Care Assistant you will have:

Driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
Good comprehension of the English language
Reliability and flexibility
Accurate record keeping
Ability to work as a team and alone
Empathetic and caring nature
