A leading company in home care services is looking for a Domiciliary Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to clients in their homes. The role requires supporting daily activities, fostering client independence, and requires flexibility and strong communication skills. With part-time shifts that accommodate well-being, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing clients' lives with a minimum of 1-hour visits to ensure quality care.

Position: Domiciliary Home Care Assistant

Location: Honley, Holmfirth, Netherton, Almondbury, and other locations across Huddersfield

Hours: Part-time, alternate weekend working required

Salary: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour

About the role:

As a Home Care Assistant, you will support clients with medication, personal care, meal preparation, and light domestic duties.

You will assist individuals at home, promoting independence while respecting their dignity, privacy, choice, and rights.

About you:

To succeed as a Home Care Assistant, you should demonstrate initiative and empathy when caring for clients. Effective communication at all levels and the ability to recognize changes in clients' needs are essential.

Requirements include:

• Driver's license and access to your own vehicle
• Good comprehension of the English language
• Reliability and flexibility
• Accurate record keeping
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
