AtHome Instead Leek & Moorlandswe offer support to individuals living in their own home. We are looking for Home Care Assistants to attend visits to our clients inBakewell, Yulegrave & Matlock. Offer companionship, support, and happiness to our clients, all while enjoying the flexibility that comes with working for us.No experience required- just a friendly personality and the right values.

At Home Instead we haveminimum 1-hour callsplus suitable travel time to ensure you are not rushed with clients, withmileage reimbursement. We work tomatchour Care Professionals and clients together somemorable connectionscan be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can reallyget to knowyour client and their needs.

This is a part-time role that will include alternate weekends.

Unfortunately, we do not have a licence to offer sponsorship.

Job Description

Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Support Worker:

• Offeringwarmth and careduring visits.
• Enhance the home atmosphere by aiding in lighthousehold choresandmeal preparations.
• Help clientscherishtheir time with you, sharing inactivitiessuch as reading or watching favourite TV shows.
• Support withpersonal caretasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
• Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. the local shops.
• Ensure transparentcommunicationwith clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care andcomfort.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
• You must have a fulldriver's licenceanddependable transportationfor various duties.
• You must bereliable and punctualto ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
• Must have acaring, friendly dispositionto create lasting relationships.
