Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Home Building Project Manager to oversee the construction of residential homes from start to finish. The role is field-focused with some office responsibilities, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential new home construction and be comfortable spending the majority of time in the field, while maintaining project documentation and safety

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience in residential homebuilding or new home construction.
• Experience managing residential construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day construction of multiple residential homes.
• Oversee homes from pre-construction through final completion and homeowner closing.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, trade partners, suppliers, and inspections.
• Monitor construction schedules and ensure projects remain on track.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to verify workmanship and quality.
• Ensure construction follows approved plans, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Identify construction issues early and coordinate timely solutions.
• Monitor jobsite safety and ensure subcontractors follow safety requirements.
• Track materials and coordinate deliveries to avoid delays.
• Review work completed by subcontractors and ensure deficiencies are corrected.
• Manage punch-list items and coordinate final completion.
• Coordinate homeowner walkthroughs and assist with closing preparations.
• Communicate regularly with management regarding project status and budget.

Qualifications:-

• 3-7+ years of experience in residential homebuilding or new home construction.
• Experience managing residential construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes, including foundations, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and finishes.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trade partners.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong scheduling, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to identify construction defects and quality issues.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working primarily in the field and visiting multiple jobsites.
• Knowledge of residential building codes and construction safety practices.
• Experience with construction management software preferred.
• High school diploma required; degree or construction-related certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
