Home based Supervising Social Worker

Salary up to £41,052 + £2,000 car allowance

NonStop Care is working with a well-established Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted rating in the South London area, to help them find a Supervising Social Worker who can join them on a permanent basis.

This is a home-based role, offering flexibility with your schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a small caseload of 10–12 foster families across Croydon, Wandsworth, Surrey, Streatham, Beckenham, Kingston, and Thornton Heath.
  • Provide support and supervision to foster families; no Form F Assessments required.
  • Work within an Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted rating, utilizing a Team Parenting Approach.
  • Collaborate with therapists, education leads, other Social Workers, and possibly the child's birth parents.
  • Receive ongoing therapeutic training to develop skills and advance your career.

The team is stable, with a supportive and friendly manager, fostering a positive working environment.

They offer a generous annual leave of 30 days, increasing to 35 days, plus bank holidays, promoting work-life balance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in fostering or Looked After Children Teams.
  • Social Work Degree.
  • Driving license.
