Job summary

Pioneer Selection seeks a Mobile Production Engineer for a home-based role, covering Scotland. You will visit manufacturing sites to provide technical support, assess production methods and tooling, and help customers improve quality and efficiency.

You will train operators and work closely with Sales and Technical teams to ensure high levels of support. The role requires travel across Scotland, including overnight stays, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical, production or quality issues.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Visit manufacturing sites across Scotland to provide technical support.
• Assess manufacturing methods, machinery and tooling to improve efficiency.
• Deliver training to operators and production teams.
• Carry out factory audits and develop improvement plans to enhance performance.
• Work with Sales and Technical teams to ensure ongoing customer support.
