Job summary

NVQ Assessor in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT & Digital IQA / Internal Verifier to ensure assurance sampling and development activities are completed on time and in accordance with the Quality framework. You will review best practices and contribute to transferring impact across the provision.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Sector Qualification to at least level 4 or 5 dependent on qualifications being sampled.
• Relevant Assessor Qualification.
• Relevant Internal Quality Assurer Qualification.
• Level 2 numeracy and literacy (or GCE/GCSE equivalent) (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Ensure assurance sampling and development activities are carried out in a timely and effective manner in accordance with the Quality framework.
• Review best practice from assurance and development activities and contribute to transfer and capture of impact across the provision.
• Drive monthly completions with allocated delivery according to predictions and coach delivery teams.
• Liaise with staff to ensure systems supporting teaching, learning, assessment, verification and additional support are fully implemented.
• Embed Safeguarding/Prevent, Equality & Diversity/Inclusion, British Values and Health & Well-being across learning programmes.
• Support recruitment and induction of delivery staff and advise on curriculum development in the provision area.
• Undertake CPD and sector updates to meet contractual requirements; prepare for EQA and Quality review visits.
