Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant is essential.
• Holding a UK driving licence and access to a car is essential to this role.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the delivery of patient care packages under the supervision of nursing staff.
• Manage and prioritise workload; liaise with other health professionals, social services, GP’s, hospital staff and other agencies.
• Accurately take and record telephone messages as required.
• Undertake nursing procedures such as phlebotomy, blood pressure monitoring, and blood glucose monitoring, with aseptic technique.
• Provide advice and instruction to patients and ensure care is delivered with compassion.
