They are expanding their team and are keen to speak with experienced Business Travel Consultants interested in working from home. The role operates on a 4 on, 4 off rota, Monday - Sunday, involving day and overnight shifts, ideal for those seeking variety and extended days off.

Role of Home-based Business Travel Consultant:

• Handling live customer travel issues outside standard office hours
• Maintaining awareness of budgets and SLAs, advising on best value carriers
• Handling amendments, cancellations, and schedule changes
• Resolving issues related to travel disruptions, cancellations, emergencies
• Staying updated on travel sector changes such as crises or industrial actions
• Maintaining high customer service standards

Skills required:

• Previous business travel reservations experience (essential)
• In-depth GDS knowledge, fares, and ticketing understanding
• Ability to work independently, using initiative to resolve problems
• Highly organized, attentive to detail, able to plan and prioritize
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work a varied 24/7 shift pattern
