Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Installation and maintenance of electronic equipment
• Custom installation and setup of various hardware in finished and unfinished residential/ commercial (interior and exterior)
• Install, configure, and test various surveillance hardware, smart-home gadgets, cabling, etc.
• Able to take direction and use cognitive thinking to complete complex installations solo or as a team
• Must be good at solving and configuring complex installations on the fly
• Pull and terminate cables
• Perform rough-in and finish work

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a clean driving record
• Prior construction experience, familiar with construction sites and homes
• Experience running and terminating RJ45, Coax, and RJ-11 cables
• Experience installing AV industry products (TVs, racks, in-wall/ceiling items)
• Ability to follow instructions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, reach, and climb

Bonus Points:

• Computer networking and WiFi experience
• Experience with Control4, Crestron, Total Control/URC systems
• Camera NVR programming and setup experience
• DSC Security products experience

We are hiring a low voltage technician with experience in AV and low voltage fields. Our home office is in Kent Island, Maryland, and work spans across Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington DC.

Ideal Candidate:

Possesses in-depth knowledge and practical skills in wiring in new/existing constructions, mounting TVs, using power tools, and measuring accurately. Able to work independently or as part of a team, humble, meticulous, and courteous.
