Job summary

Jobtailor in Canterbury is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to deliver holistic financial planning and wealth management advice to clients. You will conduct fact-finds, reviews and present tailored recommendations across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning, while building lasting client relationships.

You will work closely with paraplanners and administrators to ensure an excellent client experience and contribute to the growth and development of the practice, with ongoing

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Three years' experience as a Financial Planner.
• Experience delivering holistic financial planning advice.
• Comfortable conducting client meetings both remotely and face-to-face.
• Proven ability to build strong and lasting client relationships.
• Solid understanding of investment planning and pension/retirement planning.
• Solid understanding of protection planning and estate/inheritance tax planning.
• Understanding of financial planning best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in trusts or specialist pension advice would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic financial planning and wealth management advice to clients.
• Conduct detailed fact-finds and financial reviews.
• Produce tailored recommendations across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Present financial plans and suitability recommendations to clients.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Manage and develop a personal client portfolio.
• Identify opportunities for business development, referrals and networking.
• Collaborate with paraplanners and administrators to ensure an excellent client experience.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the practice.
• Continue professional development towards Chartered status.
• Work closely with experienced planners and support professionals.
