Job Title: Holistic Media Manager Home Care UKI

The DMC team integrates Digital Marketing, Media, Retail Media, e-Commerce, and Shopper Marketing, aiming to deliver exceptional consumer experiences for our brands in Home Care. Our key mission is to be Unilever’s fully integrated growth engine, driving brand visibility and growth through world-class Digital Marketing, Media, Digital Commerce, and Shopper Marketing.

Job Purpose

The Holistic Media Manager leads the media strategy across Traditional, Digital, and Retail Media for our five brands: Persil, Cif, Domestos, Comfort, and Surf. You will represent the best of the media landscape in the UK, leveraging digital and retail media opportunities with a substantial budget to influence outcomes. Responsibilities include developing strategies, optimizing campaigns, and driving performance through data-driven insights.

This role is central to the DMC team, working closely with brand teams and agency/media partners to ensure success. You will also manage a team that supports campaign execution.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement holistic media strategies covering traditional, digital, and retail media.
  • Continuously improve media strategies aligned with social-first growth ambitions.
  • Utilize data and data partnerships to optimize media usage.
  • Create and execute retail media strategies across omnichannel and pureplay retailers for Unilever’s Home Care brands.
Data-Driven Insights
  • Analyze campaign performance and ROI, providing actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
  • Partner with internal CMI teams and media owners to establish campaign measurement frameworks, including BLS/SLS/MMM.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Coordinate with internal teams and present key results to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external media agencies, retail account teams, and media owners to stay abreast of platform trends and capabilities.
Innovation and Testing
  • Stay updated on media trends and pilot new ad formats.
  • Develop strategies for retail events like Prime Day and Black Friday.
Budget Management
  • Manage media budgets across agencies and brand teams, implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee retail media budgets for various campaign types and report ROI and performance metrics.

  • Knowledge of media trends, including Amazon media platforms.
