About the Job:

Let's Play is seeking an individual to deliver sports activities during our Fun Week programme at Fareham Leisure Centre, Fareham. The role involves delivering a variety of sports activities to children aged 5 to 12 years, catering for all abilities.

The daily schedule includes activities such as Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building, and Arts & Crafts, aimed at positively impacting young children.

We have an excellent reputation for delivering enjoyable holiday camps for all children in our care.

Essential Requirements:
  • Interest and passion for working with primary-aged children through fun games.
  • Experience at children’s holiday camps and/or childcare settings.
  • Willingness to develop skills and practice.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and commitment.
  • Experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Clean UK driver’s license.
  • Experience or willingness to deliver other activities such as Arts & Crafts and Multi-Sports.
  • Relevant qualifications from Sixth Form, College, or University.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate your team to deliver high-standard programmes.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/carers, staff, and directors.
  • Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic, and fun for children.
  • Create a positive learning environment.
  • Deliver coaching programmes consistently to a high standard.
  • Follow our philosophy of Fun, Inclusive, and Educational activities.
  • Understand and meet the individual needs of staff and children.
  • Handle first aid/emergency situations appropriately.
  • Maintain approachability when liaising with parents/carers.
  • Deliver sessions to the best of your ability with creativity and passion.
