Let's Play is hiring individuals to deliver engaging activities during our Fun Weeks at Studley Leisure Centre in Warwickshire. The ideal candidate will work with children aged 5-12, leading sessions in Multi-Sports, Dance, Swimming, and more. Strong communication and organizational skills, alongside a passion for facilitating fun, are essential. This role offers opportunities for progression and additional qualifications, along with professional sports kit provided.

Job description

Let’s Play are looking for individuals who can deliver a variety of activities during our Fun Weeks in the school holidays at Studley Leisure Centre, Warwickshire. The role involves delivering sessions to a high standard for children of mixed ability, aged between 5 and 12 years.

The daily programme will include activities from our schedule, aiming to have a positive impact on young children. Sessions will range from Multi‑Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle/Soft Play, Team Games, Esports, Lazer Tag, Nerf Wars, Lego Building, and Arts n Crafts.

Essential Requirements

• Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary‑aged children.
• Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and coaching ability.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed.
• Has experience in delivering activities to primary‑aged children.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to interact well with children, teachers, and parents.

Preferred Requirements

• Clean UK driver’s licence.
• Experience in working in a childcare setting.
• Experience and/or willingness to deliver other activities during our Fun Week provision, such as Arts n Crafts or Multi‑Sports.
• Completed appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College or University.
• Level 2 (or above) childcare qualification.
• Level 1 (or above) sports coaching qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities for This Role

• Deliver sessions that are challenging, realistic, and fun for primary‑aged children.
• Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.
• Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.
• Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is fun, inclusive, and educational.
• Understand the individual needs of the children in our care and challenge/engage them appropriately.
• Deal with any first aid or emergency situation.
• Be approachable when liaising with parents or carers.
• Commit to ensuring every session is delivered to the best of your ability.
• Be creative and passionate in your delivery.
