Job summary

Let’s Play are looking for individuals to deliver activities during our Fun Weeks at Bracknell Leisure Centre, Bracknell. Sessions will be for children aged 5 to 12, combining Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Arts and Crafts and more.

We value punctuality, reliability and enthusiasm in delivering high-quality sessions to children of mixed abilities, with opportunities for progression and additional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for and experience delivering activities to primary-aged children.
• Willingness to develop coaching skills.
• Punctual, reliable and committed.

Responsibilities

Job description

Let's Play are looking for individuals who can deliver various activities during our Fun Weeks in the school holidays at Bracknell Leisure Centre, Bracknell. This will include delivering sessions to a high standard, catering for all children of mixed ability, aged between 5 and 12 years of age.

The daily programme will include activities delivered from our schedule which aims to have a positive impact on young children. The sessions will range from: Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle/Soft Play, Team Games, Esports, Lazer Tag, Nerf Wars, Lego Building and Arts n Crafts.

Essential Requirements

• Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.
• Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and coaching ability.
• Punctual, Reliable & Committed.
• Has experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children.
• Strong communication & organisational skills.
• Able to interact well with children, teachers, and parents.

Preferred Requirements

• Clean UK driver’s license.
• Experience in working in a childcare setting.
• Experience and/or willingness to deliver other activities during our Fun Week provision, such as: Arts n Crafts, Multi-Sports.
• Completed appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College or University.
• Level 2 (or above) Childcare qualification
• Level 1 (or above) Sports coaching qualification

• Approachable in liaising with parents/carers.
• To be committed to ensuring every session is delivered to the best of your ability.
• Be creative and passionate in your delivery.
