Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Holiday Club Manager with 3 years' experience in childcare and 1 year in a supervisory role to join a well-established childcare provider.

As a Holiday Club Manager, you'll oversee daily operations during school holidays, plan activities, manage staff, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children.


You will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and leading creative, age-appropriate activities that align with developmental frameworks.
  2. Promoting child-led play and encouraging children's involvement in planning activities.
  3. Maintaining supervision and ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies.
  4. Conducting risk assessments and implementing health and safety protocols.
  5. Leading, motivating, and providing support to a team of playworkers.
  6. Overseeing the daily schedule and ensuring the smooth delivery of all activities.
  7. Attending meetings, training sessions, and other events as required.

What we are looking for:

  1. Previously worked as a Club Manager, Playworker, Nursery Nurse, or in a similar role.
  2. At least 3 years' experience in childcare and 1 year in a supervisory role.
  3. Ideally hold Level 3/4 qualification in childcare, education, or related field.
  4. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  5. A good understanding of safeguarding, EYFS, and health and safety regulations.
