Job summary

Crieff Hydro Hotel in Scotland is seeking a childcare assistant for Big Country, our on-site facility. You will lead children in indoor and outdoor activities, with a focus on play and fun, at a busy holiday destination.

No two days are the same; we value enthusiastic, friendly communicators who can build rapport with children aged 2–12. A formal childcare qualification helps, but passion and willingness to learn are enough.

Qualifications

• If you have a formal qualification in Childcare, we really want to hear from you.
• If not, you’ll need to show us you’re interested in a career in childcare.
• You’ll have loads of enthusiasm to ensure the children you’re working with have a fun experience.
• No matter the age of our customers, great service is at the heart of our business.
• Your friendly, welcoming personality is a given. You’ll be a confident communicator who can build rapport with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead children in indoor and outdoor activities, from Clan Castle to outdoor sport.
• Emphasise play and ensure children have fun as part of a holiday destination.
• With different children arriving daily, adapt activities and keep sessions engaging.
