Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a dynamic individual to run holiday activities for children aged 5–13 at our leisure centres. You will lead arts, crafts, sports and swimming classes, creating a fun and safe atmosphere in a collaborative team setting.

Experience with children and a customer-service mindset are beneficial as you engage with families and support enjoyable, structured activities across varying durations.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Ability to plan and run arts & crafts, sports, swimming classes and other activities.
  • Strong teamwork and energy to engage children aged 5–13.

  • Run holiday activities from arts and crafts, sports, swimming and more to create a fun, safe atmosphere for children.

More About Your Role

Working alongside our team in running holiday activities from camps to drop in sessions.

It will be your responsibility to help run fun, interactive and active holiday activities for children at our centres. Running activities from arts and crafts, sports, swimming classes and more - your job is to create that fun and safe atmosphere.

More About You

Working with children aged between five and thirteen years is a job for someone with extraordinary skills.

You'll follow some set plans, but this structured approach needs to produce a happy environment - after all, children could be in your care for anything between a day and several weeks.

So, you'll need to be an energetic entertainer and an enthusiastic performer, who works brilliantly in a team and can adapt whenever necessary.

It would be preferable to have experience of working with children however, experience in a previous role where customer service was your main focus would be extremely beneficial for this role.
