British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) is looking for a part-time Hockey Coach to join their Men's and Women's Hockey programme. The ideal candidate should have a Sessional Coach qualification and must be able to deliver coaching sessions, ensuring player development and team success. Training sessions will be held on weekday evenings, with competitive fixtures scheduled weekly. This is a great opportunity for an experienced coach to contribute to a growing sports program.

Responsibilities

Description

We are seeking an experienced Hockey Coach (with a minimum Sessional Coach qualification) to deliver coaching within our growing Men's and Women's Hockey programme. Our 1st and 2nd teams compete in BUCS Tiers 2-4, with ambitions to gain promotion this year. Joint Men’s 1st/2nd team and joint Women’s 1st/2nd team training sessions are held on Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings on our ATP Hockey pitch at Coach Lane (NE7 7XA). Fixtures take place on Wednesdays, also on our ATP pitch.

The successful candidate must hold a current valid first aid and safeguarding qualification to deliver coaching within our programme. If you do not possess these, you must commit to completing one of our in-house courses in September 2025, prior to beginning delivery.
