HMO PROPERTY ADMINISTRATOR – MANCHESTER - £25K - £35K

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Administrator with experience in Housing in Multiple Occupancy to oversee the administrative functions of property management for a large public company. This role involves managing records, coordinating tenant communications, and ensuring compliance with property management policies.

The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid setting, with flexibility to work from home and the office, or as a self employed contractor providing administrative support to multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support for residential, commercial, or industrial property management.
  2. Manage tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests professionally and efficiently.
  3. Maintain and organize accurate records of leases, rent payments, maintenance requests, and other key documents.
  4. Coordinate maintenance and repairs by liaising with vendors and contractors.
  5. Process lease agreements, renewals, and terminations while ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
  6. Monitor rent collections, prepare invoices, and follow up on overdue payments.
  7. Assist in preparing budgets, financial reports, and operational summaries.
  8. Ensure compliance with property laws, safety regulations, and corporate policies.
  9. Organize and maintain digital and physical property files, contracts, and administrative documents.
  10. Support property managers and senior staff with various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  2. Proven experience in administrative roles within property management or real estate.
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and management.
  5. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Knowledge of property laws, lease agreements, and financial management principles.
  7. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  8. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to administrative challenges.
