Our client is seeking an HMI Technical Engineer to join a unique, fast-moving team working at the intersection of industrial graphics and IT systems. In this role, you’ll help bring complex industrial control systems to life through custom-designed HMIs while also supporting networks and infrastructure that keep things running smoothly.

Compensation: $60,000 – $100,000
What You’ll Be Doing
Design custom HMI graphics based on P&IDs, schematics, and technical input
Support and troubleshoot industrial networks, switches, and bottlenecks
Patch and manage IT infrastructure, including servers and workstations
Collaborate with engineers to meet project timelines and design requirements
Assist with cybersecurity efforts and periodic network inventories
Travel (~30%) to client sites across the Southeast for implementation and support
Take on automation/control support tasks depending on business needs
What You’ll Need to be Considered
Experience with HMI platforms (Wonderware, FactoryTalk, or Honeywell Experion) or interest in learning them
Familiarity with industrial networks or systems administration
Ability and willingness to travel for one week per month
Comfortable working in a hybrid IT/engineering capacity
