The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Team Leader to oversee courts-based teams at Highbury Magistrates' Court, Willesden Magistrates' Court (with travel to Ealing Magistrates' Court & Uxbridge Magistrates' Court) or Croydon Magistrates' Court. Leading your team, you will provide outstanding service to all our users, delivering on your area of work against local, regional and national priorities. As an effective Team Leader, you recognise the importance of the team's overall wellbeing and can motivate them to succeed; creating a sense of purpose, recognising successes and managing performance to deliver results and achieve business outcomes. You will be able to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including the judiciary.
The MoJ offers Hybrid Working arrangements where business need allows. This is an informal, non-contractual form of flexible working that blends working from your base location, different MoJ sites and / or from home (please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas). All employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in an office, subject to local estate capacity. Some roles will not be suitable for Hybrid Working. Similarly, Hybrid Working will not suit everyone's circumstances. Arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate(s) and subject to regular review. Saturday working You will be required to work the following shift pattern, to include Saturdays and/or Public Holidays as follows: 5 days over a 6 day working week.
