TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEND Primary provision based in Dudley. The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people.

The primary SEND school provides places for children with physical difficulties, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, specific communication difficulties, visual impairment, hearing impairment and multisensory impairment. Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Their culture is one of patience, inclusivity and helping children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential, whilst promoting independence.

The school is looking to take on a Higher Level Teaching Assistant immediately on a full-time/day to day basis. The successful HLTA with SEND experience will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 – 11yrs. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / Sever Learning difficulties, Profound multiple learning difficulties and physical difficulties.

The successful HLTA with SEND experience will have:

- Level 4 Qualification in Teaching and Learning or equivalent

- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD

- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
