Job description

Are you a HLTA/unqualified teacher looking for a new role?

We are currently working with various SEND schools across East London who are looking for specialist HLTAs/unqualified teachers to work alongside SLT on a long-term basis with an immediate start.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering lessons in line with school policy and schemes of work, sometimes without support from TAs.
  • Providing students with regular assessment and feedback to promote progress.
  • Building positive relationships with other staff to create an outstanding and inspiring learning environment in the classroom.

Minimum requirements for the role (essential):

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Experience as a HLTA/unqualified teacher.
  • SEN experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
