Role Overview As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will provide essential support to teachers and students, contributing to the delivery of high-quality lessons and fostering an engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere.
You will work with individuals and small groups to deliver targeted interventions, ensuring all students can access the curriculum and thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities Assist teachers in planning and delivering creative and effective lessons.
Provide individualized and small group support, with a focus on students requiring additional help.
Lead small group activities and targeted interventions to promote student progress.
Collaborate on the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with specific needs.
Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates all learners.
Monitor and assess student progress, sharing observations with teachers and parents.
Supervise and manage classroom activities to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting, with HLTA experience being a strong advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach to working with diverse student needs.
A passion for helping children grow academically and personally.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
