Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream primary school in Strood, Kent to appoint a dedicated HLTA. The successful candidate will support children with a range of abilities and SEND, maintaining a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment.

You will lead whole-class learning during Teacher PPA time and apply strong behaviour management. A recognised HLTA qualification and experience in a primary setting are essential. Salary is £115-£120 per day and start date is ASAP.

Qualifications

• Recognised HLTA qualification.
• Experience in a mainstream primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND/SEL needs.
• Ability to lead whole-class learning during PPA cover.
• Excellent classroom management and relationship-building with pupils.”
