Job summary

Swinton Academy is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within our Integrated Resource provision. The post involves supporting pupils with SEND, safeguarding, and promoting the academy's values and ethos.

You will be based at Swinton Academy, with the potential to work at other academies within the trust, contributing to high-quality provision and the professional development of colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and contributing to inclusive learning environments.
• Ability to work with teachers, SEND staff and external agencies to deliver high-quality provision.
• Support planning, resource preparation and targeted interventions.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, progress and wellbeing of pupils with SEND, enabling access to a broad and balanced curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEND staff and external agencies to tailor provision for individual needs.
• Complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum and contribute to developing teaching assistants and students.
