About Us:

The school is a specialist setting providing education and support for pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education. Pupils often face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges, and many have special educational needs. Our goal is to re-engage them in learning, help them develop key skills, and support their journey toward positive outcomes.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to:

  1. Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils across KS3 and KS4.

  2. Help deliver personalised learning and behaviour strategies.

  3. Support pupils' social and emotional development.

  4. Build positive relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma or disruption in their education.

  5. Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.

We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH or additional needs.

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.

  • Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.

  • A team player who is also confident working independently.

  • A willingness to learn and undertake relevant CPD.

What We Offer:
  • A welcoming and supportive team environment.

  • Ongoing professional development and training.

  • Competitive rates of pay

  • The chance to be part of a team that changes lives every day.

If you are passionate about supporting young people to succeed against the odds, we want to hear from you.
