Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated HLTA to support teaching and learning across a range of year groups. This is a full-time role starting in October, ideal for someone who is confident leading lessons and supporting pupils with a variety of educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher across different year groups
• Provide targeted support to small groups or individual pupils
• Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management
• Support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum
• Contribute to assessment, reporting, and classroom organisation
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Confidence in leading whole class teaching when required
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude towards supporting both staff and students
