Job summary

SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our ambitious and supportive school family. The role covers PPA and Leadership time across the school on a part-time basis.

The post is term-time only, 25 hours per week, with pay pro-rata to the full-time equivalent salary; visits are encouraged; enhanced DBS checks will be conducted; closing date is 7th October (12 noon). This position is part-time, term-time only, pay pro-rata to FTE.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, teaching and assessing learning across primary curriculum.
• Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that fosters enjoyment of learning.
• Experience in a primary classroom following EYFS/National Curriculum.
• Experience providing class cover and PPA time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach and assess learning opportunities in line with the school's curriculum.
• Cover class time and provide PPA coverage as required.
• Support leadership initiatives and contribute to a positive school ethos.
