Job summary

Littlecoates Primary Academy, part of Wellspring Academy Trust, is seeking a HLTA PE Specialist to lead high‑quality PE lessons across all year groups and to support PE leadership in a warm, ambitious school.

You will deliver PE lessons, run extended active provision through playtimes, lunchtimes and after-school clubs, and provide small‑group or 1:1 interventions for pupils with additional needs, contributing to consistently improved outcomes.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a PE coach with a thorough understanding of engaging children in high-quality lessons.

• Strong collaboration with colleagues to support school-wide PE goals.

About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an experienced PE coach to:

• Support PE leadership
• Teach PE lessons in all year groups, including early years
• Devise and deliver extended active provision for all year groups through playtimes, lunchtimes and after-school clubs

In addition the successful candidate will be required to:

• Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions for pupils with additional needs
• Provide occasional short-term cover for staff absence
