Are you an experienced HLTA or unqualified primary teacher with a passion for covering lessons across primary year groups? Do you have experience leading classes during PPA time or teacher absences? About the Role:
Supply Desk is working with primary schools in Gillingham seeking reliable and adaptable HLTAs and unqualified teachers to cover lessons during PPA time and teacher absences. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience while working flexibly in a variety of school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lesson Delivery - Lead pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in the absence of the class teacher.
2. Behaviour Management - Maintain a calm and productive classroom environment.
3. Intervention Support - Provide small-group or 1:1 interventions to support pupils' learning.
4. Collaboration - Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure quality education for all pupils.
5. Adaptability - Confidently cover different year groups and subjects as needed.

Who We're Looking For:

1. Experienced HLTAs or unqualified primary teachers with classroom experience.
2. Confident leading lessons and managing primary-aged children.
3. SEND experience is desirable but not essential.
4. Flexible & adaptable to work across different schools and year groups.
5. A valid DBS and two professional references are required.
