Are you a qualified HLTA-behaviour specialist looking for work in Harrow?

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) behaviour specialist who is hardworking, ambitious, and inspiring.

Job Description:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 4:00pm, term-time only
  • SEPTEMBER Start

The schools are large primary schools in the Boroughs of Harrow with a diverse community. They seek a warm, caring individual to contribute to their reputation for celebrating each child's uniqueness.

The school environment is lively and offers opportunities for personal development.

Job Role:

  • Work with children who have challenging needs.
  • Be supported by and join a well-experienced team.
  • Require 12-months reference-able experience.
  • Must be confident, patient, and possess competent behaviour management skills.

Skills needed:

  • At least 12 months experience in a school environment.
  • NVQ HLTA - behaviour specialist or equivalent in Childcare.
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults.
  • Work constructively as part of a team.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanency later.
