Job Description:
A Leeds school in the LS12 area is seeking an experienced HLTA to join on a long-term basis to support pupils and staff, contributing to high standards and achievements. The role involves supporting teachers with behavioural management and lesson delivery. You may also plan and deliver your own lessons during absences. 1:1 support may be required.

Hours: Term time, Monday-Friday
Pay: GBP110-GBP130 per day, depending on experience.
Start date: September 2025
Contract: Permanent, full-time

The successful candidate will:
Hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent to a level 4 NVQ.

Have experience managing classroom behaviour.
Motivate and encourage pupils to reach their potential.
Liaise effectively with staff and report incidents professionally.

Right to work in the UK
An enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply
Two recent professional child-related references
