An established educational institution is seeking a dedicated HLTA Learning Support Assistant to enhance the learning experiences of students with special educational needs. This role involves collaborating with the SENCO to create tailored support programs, focusing on core competencies in English and Maths. You will play a vital part in identifying barriers to learning, engaging with students in various settings, and fostering their development of essential soft skills. National statistics show that pupil premium and disadvantaged students lag behind their peers across a number of important performance measures such as attendance, academic attainment and progress. Working alongside the SENCO and wider inclusion team, we are looking to appoint someone who can both develop and deliver a support and intervention program that will improve outcomes for students.

The HLTA Learning Support Assistant will be responsible for:
Remuneration & Hours
The hourly rate is £13.05 plus statutory holiday pay which equates to £12,037 per annum. The hours are 22.5 per week, term time (37 weeks). The work pattern is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 1pm.
In line with current regulation you will, if you are eligible, be offered a workplace pension through NEST.
