Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment seeks a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming school in Corby. Start September 2026, term-time only and full-time hours. Deliver planned lessons, lead interventions, and support learners in a positive classroom environment.

The HLTA will work with teachers and leaders to support academic, social, and emotional development, including pupils with SEN, while promoting good behaviour and safeguarding across the school.

Qualifications

• HLTA status and school experience are essential.
• Strong classroom management and safeguarding awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide classroom cover when required.
• Lead small group interventions and monitor pupil progress.
• Support pupils with SEN and promote inclusive learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents and external professionals.
