Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a full-time role at a friendly LS6 primary school. You will lead lessons across KS1 and KS2 and support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN.

Work with teachers to keep learning engaging and inclusive, build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents, and benefit from Thrive training where offered. This is a temporary position with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or strong experience at a similar level.
• Ability to lead a class independently.
• Calm, proactive approach.
• Genuine care for helping children thrive.

Responsibilities

• Delivering planned lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEN.
• Working closely with teachers to keep learning engaging and inclusive.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
