Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Wandsworth

Contract: Full Time - Long Term

Start Date: ASAP

Payrate: 95 - 135 per day

Are you a Level 4 qualified HLTA seeking a position in a Primary School based in Wandsworth?

Higher Level Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the year 4 class teacher to provide tailored support to students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
• Planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities under the direction of a teacher.
• Teaching classes independently, covering planned absences, and supporting teachers with planning and marking.
• Observing and assessing children's progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 4 qualification in Higher Level Teaching Assistance.
• Specialist skills or training in a curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
