Job description

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting for a HLTA to join a partnership Primary School in Kings Norton. This full-time role is starting ASAP and is continuing until the end of the academic year. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across the primary age range. As a HLTA you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering lessons set out by the class teacher
  • Providing classroom support
  • Supporting pupils' academic and personal development within EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to provide tailored support for students.
  • Upholding the school's values and contributing to its positive ethos.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification (Level 4 or higher).
  • Experience working in a primary school setting within Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to ensuring a high standard of education and student development.
  • Previous UK school experience is essential.
Working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £100.00 - £120.00 per day (£19,500 - £23,400 per annum based on full-time work).
